Results (2002 Montreal) |
The event started with the seven participants playing a 20-board round robin. The top four programs from the round robin played a 48-board semifinal match and the winners played a 64-board final. |
Comments: GIB would have qualified for the semifinals but chose to withdraw from the tournament during the last round robin match. In the last round, Jack was bye, GIB had no chance to become a top finisher, and GIB crashed board by board against Meadowlark. Mysterious behavior.
