Oct. 2005 World Computer Bridge Championship
The 9th World Computer Bridge Championship was held October 25-30, 2005 at the WBF World Team Championships in Estoril, Portugal. This year's World Computer Bridge Championship was supported by the ACBL. Al Levy, a member of the ACBL Board of Directors, is the creator of the World Computer Bridge Championship and acted as the organizer and coordinator of this year's event.

Six computer programs from around the world competed in the 9th ACBL World Computer Bridge Championship.

The event started with the six participants playing a 40-board round robin. The top two programs from the round robin played a 64-board final match.
