The computer completely checks the following signals and tries to generate random hands which do not contradict the signals. If you are the defender, do not miss these signals. Otherwise, your computer partner will misunderstand your hand. You can choose the optional signals below for the NS and EW side respectively.

- Optional Leads
Lead from AK: Ace from AK or King from AK.
Length Lead: Fourth Best, Third Best and Lowest (third best from an even number and lowest from an odd number), or Parity (a high spot card from an even number and lowest from an odd number).
Leads from xxx: Top, 2nd (MUD), or lowest.
Leads from xxxx: Top, 2nd, or the same as Length Leads.
Leads from xxxxx...: Top, 2nd, or the same as Length Leads.
Zero or Two Higher Leads: Lead the nine or ten to show zero or two higher cards.
Signals
- Bottom of Sequence when following a lead suit and trying to take the trick
- To partner's leads: Attitude
Standard: A high card shows interest in the suit; a low card shows disinterest.
Upside-Down: A high shows disinterest; a low shows interest.
- First discard: Attitude
Standard: A high card shows interest in the suit; a low card shows disinterest.
Upside-Down: A high shows disinterest; a low shows interest.
- To declarer's leads (excluding the trump suit):
No signals: Defender provides no information.
Standard Count Signals: A high card shows an even number of cards in the suit; a low card shows an odd number.
Upside-Down Count Signals: A high card shows an odd number; a low card shows an even number.
Declarer's Policy
Your computer partner always signals honestly and does not overlook your signals. However, declarer need not take into account all defenders' signals. You can specify which signals declarer takes into account from above options.
