|
Micro Bridge 12 offers the following new features:
Play
- Improved Play Algorithm
Version 11 required 3GHz Pentium4 CPU power to play at the highest level, and its search depth was 3 tricks. Its end play zone (exhaustive search) was the last 7 tricks.
The highest level of version 12 requires 6GHz Core2 CPU power (its performance is equal to about 15GHz Pentium4) and enables deeper (4 tricks) search depth. The end play zone is last 8 tricks. Version 12 is about 0.3 IMPs/board stronger than version 11.

The highest level of version 11 requires over 3GHz CPU and enables deeper (3 tricks) search depth. Version 11 is about 0.5 IMPs/board stronger than Version 10.

Micro Bridge 10 offers the following new features:
Play
- Improved Play Algorithm
Version 9 required 1GHz CPU power to play at the highest level, and its end play zone (exhaustive search) was the last 6 tricks. The highest level of version 9 nearly corresponds to level 7 of version 10 and requires only 700MHz. 800MHz or faster CPU enables version 10 to perform an exhaustive search of the last 7 tricks. Version 10 also adopts more sophisticated algorithms.
- New Signals Options

The bidding data tables become increasingly more detailed and over one and a half times larger than version 9. The bidding rules can be described more sophisticatedly.
Suit strength: No stoppers, at most half stopper, existence of top honors, etc.
HCP: Good and bad hand. For example, good 15 to bad 18.
Playing trick: Range can be defined by half trick.
Vulnerability: Four combinations can be specified.
Rules depending on the scoring method (Match points and IMP).

Micro Bridge 9 offers the following new features:
Play
- Improved Play Algorithm
Version 8 required 350MHz CPU power to play at the highest level, and its end play zone (exhaustive search) was the last 4 tricks. The highest level of version 8 nearly corresponds to level 4 of version 9 and requires only 200MHz. The end play zone is the last 5 tricks. Micro Bridge 9 supports a wide range of CPU power (from 33 MHz to 1GHz), and the higher play level uses more sophisticated algorithms.
- Two Types of Tactics: Match point and IMP tactics.
- Signals Options
You can specify the NS and EW side signals respectively. Options are: Lead from AK, Fourth Best lead or Third Best and Lowest (vs suit and notrump respectively), Count Signal, Standard or Upside-Down (attitude and count signal respectively).
You can also specify the signals that declarer takes into account.
- Optional Double Dummy Defense by Your Partner.
