MASAYOSHI ENOKIDA was born in Maebashi City, Japan. He studied flute with Masao Yoshida
(professor at Tokyo University of Music and Fine Arts). From 1972 to 1975
he studied with the late Andre Jaunet at Zurich Conservatory in Switzerland.
From 1975 to 1978 followed further studies with William Bennett and Edward
Becket at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Masayoshi Enokida
won 2nd prize at reknown Maria Canals International Music Competition in
Barcelona, Spain (no 1st prize). From 1979 to 1980 he was principal flutist
of Bergen Symphony Orchestra in Norway. Since 1980 Mr.Enokida is principal
flutist of Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra, founded and led by the late Japanese
conductor Takeshi Asahina. The Osaka Philharmony is one of the foremost
orchestras in Japan. He regularly gives recitals and appeared as soloist
with the Osaka Philharmoy, the Warsaw Symphony and the Krakow Chamber Orchestra.
In 1995 Masayoshi Enokida published a translation of The Gilbert Legacy by Angelika Steven Froyd. |

Enokida gewann den zweiten Preis (kein erster Preis) des begehrten internationalen

beim Symphonieorchester von Bergen in Norwegen. Seit 1980 ist er Soloflötist
bei der Osaka Philharmormonie, eines der angesehensten Orchester Japans.
Herr Enokida gibt regelmässige Flötenrezitale und ist ein gesuchter
Solist bei vielen Orchestern, wie die Orchester Philharmonie, das Warschauer
Symphonieorchester und das Kammerorchester von Krakau.1995 publizierte
der Flötist die Uebersetzung von Angelika Steven Froyds The Gilbert Legacy. |

KAREL DOLEZAL was born in Prague. He studied at the Prag Conservatory under V.Zahradnik, L.Maly and the legendary Ladsislav Cerny. Dolezal founded in 1972 his quartet. The ensemble has been given sundry awards at international competitions like the winner of the Prague Spring quartet competition in 1975, silver medal at the competition in Bordeau and in 1989 prize of the Czech Association for Chamber Music within the Czech Philharmony. The Dolezal Quartet is known internationaly as an ambassador of the Czech quartet school. Karel Dolezal is also known as a great soloist in recital programs. He teaches at the Prague Conservatory. Many CD's document the art of this great viola player. |

KAREL DOLEZAL stammt aus Prag. Er studierte dort am staatlichen Konservatorium under
Prof. V.Zahradnik und L.Maly sowie beim legendären Ladislav Cerny.
Mit seinem im Jahre 1972 gegründeten Streichquartett wurde er Preisträger
des 'Prager Frühlings'. Die Silbermedaille gewann das Ensemble am
internationalen Festival für 'Junge Solisten' in Bordeaux. Heute zählt
das Dolezal-Quartett zu den repräsentativsten der tschechischen Kammermusik-Tradition.
Viele jüngere und reüssierte Ensembles aus Prag gründen
auf der künstlerischen Prägung des Dolezal-Quartetts. Zudem ist
Karel Dolezal auch als Solist an verschiedenen Festivals anzutreffen. Am
Prager Konservatorium hat er eine Professur für Viola. Viele CD-Aufnahmen
dokumentieren die Kunst von Karel Dolezal. |
